Wings joins with Optiemus for 100% “Make in India” audio, gaming products: All you need to know

WINGS

WINGS today announced a partnership with Optiemus Electronics, following tremendous market success. WINGS will achieve 100% Make in India manufacturing of its product line, which includes sound bars, speakers, keyboards, and nearly every other gaming and computer peripheral. The partnership will benefit a lot from Optiemus Electronics’ state-of-the-art factory in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, which can make 1.5 million TWS earbuds every month.

The two companies will work together to make TWS earbuds first. Over the next few months, they will also make soundbars, speakers, keyboards, and almost every other gaming and computer accessory.

WINGS’ CEO, Mr. Nishit Sharma, stated,

“Ever since our first product itself, our consumers have looked up to us with greater expectations. Wings’ audio and gaming gear are one of the best in their respective segments and we aim to give our customers more than what they love and deserve. Till now, we have sourced our products manufactured from overseas sources, but with the great initiative by PM Modi being an inspiration to thousands of Indian businesses now we want to become completely independent and manufacture our products, right here in UP, India. We want our Indian Gamers to have resources made from their own country and use something they can be extremely proud of.”

Mr. Nitesh Gupta, Director of Optiemus Electronics Ltd., commented on the collaboration:

“We are excited to partner with Wings, which has gained popularity in a very short duration among its target customers. This partnership is a testimony to the growing belief and real adoption of Atmanirbhar Bharat on the ground in electronics manufacturing. The market for wearables/hearables has grown significantly in the last few years with the rising aspirations of Indian youth, which is quite unique. At Optiemus, we are also happy to notice that as per the recent counterpoint report, Optiemus led the ‘Made in India’ smartwatches segment, accounting for more than 75% shipments in Q1 FY23”
