Xiaomi will launch a new smartphone in China called Civi 3. It will be the first device with the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ultra chipset. This chipset is a new version of the Dimensity 8200 that came out in December. It should offer better performance and efficiency than the old one.
Improved camera features
The Civi 3 will also have better camera features. The chipset has an improved image signal processing (ISP). The ISP will use less power for the camera app. It will also make photos and videos faster. Moreover, it will add up to 30 new video functions that Xiaomi will reveal later.

The chipset makes it more optimized and power-efficient. The company says that the Civi 3 can take photos and videos faster than the Civi 2 in different modes. For example, the continuous shooting speed is 235% faster on the Civi 3. The portrait speed is 35% faster. The night mode speed is 57% faster. And the HDR speed is 153% faster. These improvements make the Civi 3 better for capturing moments in various lighting conditions.
Other specifications
The Civi 3 will have a big AMOLED screen with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It will have two selfie cameras on the front with 32MP each. On the back, it will have a main camera with 50MP using a Sony sensor. The battery will be 4,500mAh and it will charge fast with 67W. Xiaomi will announce more details about the Civi 3 soon.
