Xiaomi has announced a new launch event in China that will unveil the Xiaomi MIX Fold 2 foldable smartphone, the Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro 12.4, and the Xiaomi Buds 4 Pro TWS earbuds all at the same time. These products will be revealed on August 11 at 7 p.m. (local time).
Xiaomi MIX Fold 2 specifications (rumored)
The Xiaomi MIX Fold 2 is expected to feature a 6.5-inch Samsung AMOLED E5 cover display with a 21:9 aspect ratio, 2520 x 1080 pixel resolution, and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The device will have a foldable Eco2 AMOLED 8-inch display with LTPO technology on the inside. Both displays are said to support a refresh rate of 120hz.
The MIX Fold 2 is probably powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. There are many rumours that the Xiaomi smartphone with the model number 22061218C, which was recently approved by the TENAA and 3C certification platforms, will be unveiled as the MIX Fold 2. In the TENAA filing, it was only said that the device would come in two versions: one with 12 GB RAM and 512 GB of storage, and the other with 12 GB RAM and 1 TB of storage.
It comes with Sony’s IMX766 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS, a telephoto camera with a 2x optical zoom and a 13-megapixel OmniVision OV13B ultra-wide camera. The Surge C1 image processing chip will go with the cameras. The MIX Fold 2 will feature Lecia’s photography enhancements, according to the official poster. According to the device’s 3C certification, 67W fast charging will be supported.
Pad 5 Pro 12.4 and Buds 4 Pro
The Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro (12.4) is most likely a larger version of the current Mi Pad 5. As a result, it is expected to have a 12.4-inch LCD display and a Snapdragon 870 processor. It will most likely have a larger battery. Xiaomi’s next premium TWS earbuds will be the Buds 4 Pro. However, there is no information on the Buds 4 Pro’s specifications or features.
