Sony has unveiled its latest flagship TWS earbuds, the Sony WF-1000XM5, in India. These earbuds are a significant upgrade from their predecessor, the WF-1000XM4, boasting a more compact design and improved noise-cancellation performance. The WF-1000XM5 earbuds are approximately 25% smaller and lighter than their predecessor, making them more comfortable for extended use.
The Sony WF-1000XM5 features three microphones on each earbud, including dual feedback mics, which enhance low-frequency cancellation performance. The Integrated Processor V2, a new development by Sony, works in tandem with the HD Noise Cancelling Processor QN2e to control the six microphones across both ears. This unique combination delivers unprecedented noise-canceling quality adaptable to provide optimal performance in any environment.

The Sony WF-1000XM5 also supports LDAC technology and real-time audio enhancement through Edge-AI. These features, along with head-tracking technology, provide an immersive listening experience like no other. The earbuds offer up to 8 hours of battery life and an additional 16 hours with the charging case. A quick charging feature ensures you get 60 minutes of playtime with just a 3-minute charge.

Pricing and Availability
The Sony WF-1000XM5 is available in Black and Platinum Silver colors. The earbuds are priced at Rs. 24,990 but can be pre-booked from September 27th till October 15th for a special price of Rs. 21,990 (including Rs. 3,000 cashback). Pre-bookings also include a free SRS-XB100 portable speaker worth Rs. 4,990. The earbuds will be available for sale starting from October 18th, 2023.
