The first 2,000 units of the scooter will have a special First Edition insignia. TVS also offers a concierge service and a Garmin smartwatch package for Rs 18,000 to enhance the riding experience.

Noteworthy is the in-house developed motor controller by TVS Motor. Acceleration is a breeze, as the TVS X can sprint from 0 to 40kmph in just 2.6 seconds and reach a top speed of 105kmph.

Navigating the cityscape is a breeze with the TVS X’s claimed range of 140km on a single full charge. Powering this journey is a 4.44kWh battery pack featuring an in-house developed battery management system. A portable 950W charger can juice up the electric scooter from 0 to 80% in approximately 4 hours and 30 minutes, while a 3kW Smart X Home rapid charger zips from 0 to 50% in just 50 minutes.

Geared to elevate urban commuting, this premium innovation comes with a price tag of Rs 2.50 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi). Notably, the FAME subsidy is not applicable to this model. Enthusiastic riders can start booking their TVS X electric scooters now, with deliveries rolling out across 15 cities in a phased manner, commencing this November.
